Engineering Supplies (ES) is a family-owned business that has been active in the Australian electrical and resource markets for more than 70 years. The Engineering Supplies team is close-knit and based entirely in Welshpool, Perth, with a combined industry experience of well over 180 years. In addition, our staff are actively involved in the business at every level, from the trade counter to the boardroom. Many of the team have been with the business for well over a decade, and several started in the warehouse before moving into sales.
Leadership
Russell Telfer is Managing Director. Jeremy Telfer and Travis Dinsdale jointly run the day-to-day business, Jeremy as General Manager and Travis as National Sales Manager, and both are available to customers directly. As a result, decisions about stock, pricing and service happen quickly and locally.
Finance & Accounts
The finance and accounts team looks after invoicing, credit and supplier payments. For example, they can help with account applications, statements and payment queries. Of course, trade account applications are welcome from new customers.
Internal Sales
Internal sales is your first point of contact for quotes, orders and stock checks. Similarly, they coordinate deliveries and chase down technical detail with our suppliers. In short, if you need it today, call them first.
External Sales
Led by Travis Dinsdale, the Engineering Supplies sales team works with utilities, mining, contractors and switchboard builders across WA and beyond. Consequently, they bring deep product knowledge, particularly on the TE Connectivity, Raychem, Cembre and Utilux ranges, to every project.
Warehouse Team
The warehouse team receives, inspects, picks and packs every order from our Welshpool facility. Meanwhile, our own drivers deliver across Perth, with hot-shot and after-hours support for urgent jobs. Additionally, every incoming shipment is inspected under our ISO 9001 quality system before it reaches the shelf.
