Cembre PP1 coolant guide pin
The Cembre PP1 coolant guide pin is a guide bit for compatible short CY broach cutters up to 18 mm diameter. It measures 80 mm long and 7 mm in diameter, and automatically controls the cooling mixture flow during rail drilling.
The guide pin forms part of the cutter setup. It opens and closes the coolant supply during operation. Match the pin to your cutter code and drill instructions when replacing a worn or missing guide bit.

Cutter selection and related pins

Fitting the guide pin
First, insert the pin into the rear of the broach cutter. Then locate the cutter in the drill spindle and complete assembly in accordance with the drill instructions. Confirm the correct cutter, guide pin and coolant arrangement before starting work.
