Description
A clevis suspension clamp supports aluminium based conductors at an overhead line suspension point. This range has an aluminium alloy body and galvanised steel hardware. Four options cover conductor diameters from 7 to 32 mm, with bolt or rivet hardware according to the selected model.
First, match the conductor diameter to the range in the table. Then check the hardware and load requirement for the line assembly. The part number, diameter range and hardware type together help identify the correct option.

The catalogue lists minimum failing loads. These figures are not working load limits, so use the approved line design to establish the required duty. Also check the mating fitting before choosing a clamp.
Body and hardware options

For example, the two ACC0721 models share a diameter range and minimum failing load. However, their hardware differs. Specify the full SKU when ordering so the chosen connection type is clear.
Dimensions and conductor fit
The catalogue drawings identify dimensions A and B. Both ACC0721 options have A = 152 mm and B = 62 mm. In comparison, ACC1723A has A = 200 mm and B = 76 mm, while ACC2032A has A = 230 mm and B = 84 mm. Refer to the drawing for the measurement locations.
Where Heliformed rods are required, allow for their added diameter when selecting the clamp. Therefore, confirm the full assembly diameter as well as the bare conductor size. The ACC1723A range is 12–28 mm; do not derive its size from the numbers in the part code.
