Indeed, the copper crimp link joins two lengths of copper cable of the same size in a straight, in-line butt joint. It comes in cable sizes from 0.5mm² through to 630mm².

Because this range spans 18 cable sizes, checking the exact conductor size on both cable ends against the link before ordering is recommended. Therefore, matching the same size on both sides avoids a joint that does not crimp evenly.
