KSS Open Grommets for Cable Protection
KSS open grommets protect wires and cables where they pass through holes in metal panels, chassis and electrical enclosures.
The flexible PVC grommet fits around the edge of the panel opening and creates a smooth surface between the cable and the metal. As a result, it helps protect cable insulation from rubbing against rough or sharp edges.
KSS manufactures the GM range from flexible black PVC for electrical and industrial cable protection applications.

Protecting Cable Through Metal Openings
Drilled, punched or cut metal openings can leave edges that may damage cable insulation through movement, vibration or repeated contact.
Installing a flexible grommet places a PVC barrier around the opening. Therefore, the cable contacts the smooth grommet surface rather than the raw panel edge.
