Cembre LD-16B-RPT Battery Rail Drill
The Cembre LD-16B-RPT Battery Rail Drill is a high-performance, professional rail drilling machine for fast and accurate drilling of railway track. Unlike petrol-powered rail drills, it delivers this performance without the associated noise, fumes and maintenance.
Powered by Cembre’s 36V lithium-ion battery system, the LD-16B-RPT combines high drilling speed, long battery life and low vibration with a powerful brushless motor. In addition, it produces no harmful exhaust emissions. Therefore, it is particularly well suited to rail maintenance in tunnels, underground rail networks, stations and enclosed environments. Furthermore, it is ideal for night works where reduced noise is important.
The intelligent electronic drilling assistant monitors drilling load and uses a coloured LED to show the operator how to adjust pressure on the drive lever. As a result, the system helps achieve fast, consistent drilling while maximising cutter performance and battery efficiency.
