Cembre OG13.2 Installation Mandrel
The Cembre OG13.2 mandrel is a dedicated installation accessory for fitting AR60D, AR260D and AR65 rail web bush connection kits.
Designed for use with the B1300TEP-T Battery Hydraulic Installation Tool or HTEP Manual Hydraulic Installation Tool, the OG13.2 helps provide controlled and repeatable expansion of the Cembre AR rail contact bush during installation.
During installation, the hydraulic tool pulls the OG13.2 mandrel through the conductive bush. As a result, the bush expands firmly against the internal surface of the rail web hole and creates the permanent electrical interface between the rail and the Cembre AR contact.
Using the correct Cembre installation mandrel is important because the mandrel controls the expansion of the conductive bush. Therefore, installers should always use the mandrel specified for the particular Cembre AR rail contact being installed.
