PE2 round enamelled copper magnet wire

PE2 round enamelled copper magnet wire is a winding material for motor rewinding and coil work. The range combines a round copper conductor with an enamel insulation coating. Engineering Supplies lists 56 wire diameters, from 0.125 mm to 3.55 mm, so you can match the conductor size to the winding specification.

Quote the full size-based part number when enquiring. For example, 0.500PE2 identifies the listed 0.50 mm wire, while 1.00PE2 identifies the 1.00 mm size. The parent SKU PE2 covers the product range.

Insulation and reel selection

Our winding-wire catalogue lists polyester imide–amide imide, Class C 200°C, and polyurethane (PUR), Class E 130°C, insulation systems. Specify the required insulation system and temperature class in your enquiry so we can confirm the appropriate wire. Diameter alone does not identify the insulation specification.

Reel weights vary with wire size and the reels available at the time of supply. Therefore, request the required quantity in kilograms and confirm the actual reel weight before ordering. The catalogue includes indicative weight ranges and metres per kilogram for individual sizes.
