A crimp link connector joins two conductor ends inside one insulated barrel. This forms a permanent electrical splice rather than a stud, socket or plug connection. Utilux supergrip crimp link connectors come colour-coded across the full 0.5mm² to 6.0mm² conductor range. This range uses the heavier-duty Supergrip crimp barrel found elsewhere across this terminal range, adding extra pull-out strength.
A crimping tool forms the joint, so installers need no heat source on site. Consequently, this connector suits general wiring repairs and extensions wherever a permanent, insulated splice is the goal, rather than a plug-in or stud connection.
