Description
The Phoenix Contact WIREFOX 10 is a self-adjusting wire stripper for cables and conductors from 0.02 to 10 mm². An adjustable length stop covers stripping lengths from 2 to 18 mm. The tool also has a built-in wire cutter and a replaceable stripping blade.

Choose the strip length for the terminal
First, check the wire type and cross-section. Then set the length stop to the strip length required by the terminal or ferrule you plan to fit. The self-adjusting mechanism supports different wire sizes, while the stop helps you keep the prepared length consistent.
Keep the cutting limits separate from the stripping range. For example, the tool strips wire sizes up to 10 mm², but its cutter’s limit for solid wire is 1.5 mm². Use the correct row in the table for the task and wire construction.

Replacement and alternative blades
WIREFOX 10/SB, 1212152, is the direct replacement blade. Phoenix Contact also lists these inserts for use in WIREFOX 10:

Each blade has its own cable range and application. Check the insert data and tool instructions before changing blades. Quote the blade number when asking about a spare, and the tool number when ordering the complete stripper.
