Stain Proof sealers and their uses

Premium Impregnating Sealer, previously Stain-Proof Original, helps repel water and oil on suitable porous surfaces while retaining their natural appearance. It is intended for a range of indoor and outdoor surfaces.

Colour Enhancing Sealer, previously Intensifia, combines sealing with a deeper colour effect on suitable porous materials. Test the appearance first, as an enhanced finish changes the look of the surface.

Waterborne Dense Stone Sealer, previously MetaCreme, uses a waterborne cream format. The manufacturer identifies dense stone applications and excludes resined quartzite. 40SK Consolidator & Water Repellent targets softer, more porous materials that need consolidation and protection from water-related damage.

Choosing a treatment for your surface

First, identify the stone or other material and any existing coating. Then decide whether you want to retain its appearance or enhance the colour. Also check the location, surface condition and exposure to water or salts.
