Aluminium gain blocks for crossarm mounting
These aluminium gain blocks locate a crossarm as part of its mounting assembly. The Dulmison GB range uses cast high-strength aluminium alloy and includes a groove to locate the crossarm. Choose the block that matches the crossarm size on your drawing or parts list.
Three options are available: GB100 for 100 mm, GB125 for 125 mm and GB150 for 150 mm crossarms. Each has its own DULGB order code. First, identify the crossarm size. Then use the matching code to check the product price and prepare your order.

The crossarm size identifies the size served by the block. It does not state the block’s overall length, width or height. Therefore, check the complete mounting dimensions if your drawing calls for a specific fit or clearance.
These details follow the GB table on page 11-8 of the Dulmison catalogue. The aluminium GB entries include the crossarm locating groove. Use the exact GB part reference when checking the required material and size.
Check the mounting arrangement
- Match the 100, 125 or 150 mm crossarm size to the required block.
- Check the groove, mounting hardware and pole arrangement against your drawing.
- Confirm any specified fixing details, clearances or load requirements.
- Include the full DULGB code and quantity in your order or quote request.
