Description

Earthing enhancement compounds: EARTHRITE and EARTH5050

Earthing enhancement compounds support electrical conductivity in an earthing installation. The EARTHRITE and EARTH5050 range offers two blends in 20 kg bags. Select the blend specified for the job, then use it as a dry mix or a pourable slurry to suit the installation method.

The compounds have high expansion and low shrink characteristics, as described in our catalogue. Their role is to help provide low ground resistance. The final result depends on the earthing design and site conditions, so choose the compound as part of the complete system.

The parent SKU EARTH covers both compounds. Include the full order code when enquiring, particularly if your job documents refer to an older catalogue code.

Pack size and approximate yield

  • Pack: 20 kg in a tear-resistant, plastic-lined bag.
  • Dry mix: about 0.0176 m³ per bag, or roughly 57 bags per cubic metre.
  • Slurry: about 0.030 m³ per bag when mixed with 20–25 litres of water, or roughly 33 bags per cubic metre.

Use these catalogue yields as a guide when planning material quantities. First, establish the required fill volume and the specified installation method. Then confirm the number of bags needed for the job.

Handling information and related products

Read the safety data sheet for the exact compound before handling. The linked EARTHRITE sheet identifies skin and eye irritation hazards and gives protection and handling instructions. Each blend has its own document:

For other components, browse our copper-clad threaded earth rods and earth mat. Select these to suit the earthing design. Contact Engineering Supplies with the required compound and bag quantity to confirm availability.
