Description
The Type GF earth clamp connects one earth conductor to flat metal. It has a cast copper alloy body and stainless steel hardware. Two versions cover conductor sizes from 16 to 135 mm², with a separate diameter range listed for each size.
Type GF earth clamp sizes
- ER-GF42: one conductor, 16–70 mm², with a conductor diameter of 5.10–10.70 mm.
- ER-GF58: one conductor, 70–135 mm², with a conductor diameter of 10.70–15.25 mm.
Since the ranges differ, choose the part number using both the conductor area and its diameter. The mm² value describes the conductor cross-section, while the mm value gives its diameter. Checking both helps you select the clamp for the cable used on the job.

Check the connection before ordering
First, confirm that the job needs a conductor-to-flat-metal connection. Then check the conductor range for ER-GF42 or ER-GF58. Also confirm the bar thickness and mounting arrangement with our team if you need help matching an existing installation.
