Termco Copper Reducing Links
Termco TCLRL Copper Reducing Links provide a reliable method of joining two copper conductors of different cross-sectional sizes. Unlike a standard straight copper crimp link, each reducing link has different barrel sizes at either end to suit the corresponding conductor sizes.
They are suitable for electrical installations where a larger copper conductor needs to transition to a smaller conductor while maintaining a permanent crimped connection.
Termco copper lugs and links are manufactured from high-grade oxygen-free copper, electro-tinned and manufactured to Australian dimensions. The Termco copper compression range is designed for compatibility with Australian-style crimping tooling and complies with AS/NZS 4325.1.
Copper Reducing Link Sizes
The TCLRL range is available in numerous conductor-size combinations, including sizes from 6mm² to 4mm² through to 300mm² to 240mm².
Common combinations include:
- 16mm² to 6mm²

- 50mm² to 35mm²
- 70mm² to 50mm²
- 95mm² to 70mm²

Selecting the Correct Copper Reducing Link
Select the reducing link according to the nominal cross-sectional area of the conductor entering each end of the link.
For example:
TCLRL95-70 is designed to transition from a 95mm² copper conductor to a 70mm² copper conductor.
