Termco Uninsulated Cord End Terminals (Boot Lace)
Cord end terminals, also called bootlace ferrules, crimp onto a stripped stranded conductor. They present a smooth metal sleeve rather than a ring, fork or blade. Termco uninsulated cord end terminals suit stranded conductors from 0.5mm² to 70mm². They are supplied as a bare ferrule with no colour-coded insulating collar.
Because the bare ferrule carries no fixed sleeve colour, it suits jobs that fit a separate heat-shrink or sleeve afterward. It also suits equipment where the terminal itself does not need a colour-coded collar. Consequently, this range gives installers a plain ferrule to finish as the job requires.
It is also a practical option where a job already uses heat-shrink tubing for insulation, or where a manufacturer’s assembly instructions call for a bare ferrule rather than a pre-insulated one.
