Cembre PC & PCU Pin Connectors

Our current Cembre connector range includes two clearly different flat pin terminal families:

PC Series – Insulated Pin Connectors
Pre-insulated terminals for copper conductors from 10mm² to 35mm². Australian references PC10, PC16, PC25 and PC35 correspond to Cembre’s ANE-P range.

PCU Series – Uninsulated Pin Connectors
Uninsulated tinned copper terminals from 10mm² to 70mm². Australian references PCU10 through PCU70 correspond to Cembre’s A-P range.

Therefore:

PC = Insulated
PCU = Uninsulated

This distinction makes it easier to identify the correct product from an Australian specification, existing installation or purchase order.

Insulated Cembre PC Connectors

The PC Series uses Cembre ANE-P pre-insulated flat pin terminals.

Available sizes include:

• PC10 – Cembre ANE2-P12 – 10mm²
• PC16 – Cembre ANE3-P14 – 16mm²
• PC25 – Cembre ANE5-P16 – 25mm²
• PC35 – Cembre ANE7-P20 – 35mm²

These terminals combine a tinned copper body with black PA6.6 insulation and a funnel-shaped conductor entry. Cembre manufactures the ANE-P family specifically as pre-insulated flat pin terminals for copper conductors.

Uninsulated Cembre PCU Connectors

For applications requiring an exposed terminal barrel, choose the PCU Series.

Available sizes include:

• PCU10 – Cembre A2-P12 – 10mm²
• PCU16 – Cembre A3-P14 – 16mm²
• PCU25 – Cembre A5-P16 – 25mm²
• PCU35 – Cembre A7-P20 – 35mm²
• PCU50 – Cembre A10-P25 – 50mm²
• PCU70 – Cembre A14-P30 – 70mm²

In comparison with the PC range, these terminals have no insulation sleeve and use Cembre’s A-P uninsulated flat pin construction.
