Cembre AR67-INST Rail Bush Installation Kit
The Cembre AR67-INST contains the dedicated components needed to install Cembre AR67 rail web bush connections.
The AR67 uses an 8 mm rail web hole. Therefore, it requires different installation components from the larger 19 mm AR60D and AR260D systems.
The AR67-INST works with the RHTEP-S rail bush installation head. In addition, it can be used with compatible Cembre HTEP and B1300TEP-T installation tools.
Cembre AR67-INST Kit Contents
The complete kit includes:
- OG6.5 installation plunger
- CAL8.85 Go/No-Go checking gauge
- M9M5 installation adapter
Together, these components allow the HTEP or B1300TEP-T to install the smaller AR67 rail contact correctly.

AR67 OG6.5 Installation Plunger
The OG6.5 performs the controlled expansion of the AR67 copper bush.
During installation, the hydraulic head pulls the calibrated plunger through the bush. As a result, the copper expands firmly against the inside of the rail web hole.
Therefore, the process creates a permanent metal-to-metal electrical connection between the bush and rail.
AR67 CAL8.85 Checking Gauge
Use the CAL8.85 Go/No-Go gauge to check the drilled rail web hole before installing the AR67.
The gauge confirms that the hole meets the required dimensional tolerance. Consequently, the installer can identify an unsuitable hole before fitting the bush.
AR67 M9M5 Installation Adapter
The M9M5 adapter connects the AR67 installation components to the compatible Cembre hydraulic installation system.
In turn, this allows the smaller OG6.5 plunger to work correctly with the RHTEP-S installation head.
AR67-INST Compatible Hydraulic Installation Tools
Use the Cembre AR67-INST with either of the following tools:
- Cembre HTEP manual hydraulic rail bush installation tool
- Cembre B1300TEP-T battery hydraulic rail bush installation tool
Both tools use the RHTEP-S installation head. However, you must add the AR67-INST components when installing the smaller AR67 connection.

Installing an AR67 with the AR67-INST
First, drill the required 8 mm hole through the rail web.
Next, check the hole using the CAL8.85 gauge.
Then fit the M9M5 adapter and OG6.5 plunger to the compatible hydraulic installation system.
Finally, use the HTEP or B1300TEP-T to hydraulically expand the AR67 bush into the rail web.
As a result, using the correct installation components helps provide a consistent and repeatable AR67 connection.
