The Cembre B500NDT is a compact 18V battery hydraulic crimping tool for installing electrical compression connectors on conductors from 4 to 300 mm².
Its balanced cordless design combines powerful hydraulic crimping with an openable, rotating head. Therefore, operators can position the tool easily around cables and connectors in switchboards, substations, industrial installations and field applications.
In addition, the B500NDT includes an OLED display, EPS electronic pressure monitoring, Smart Release technology and Cembre SMARTOOL digital support.
B500NDT Battery Hydraulic Crimping Tool
The B500NDT uses an 18V battery-powered hydraulic system to provide fast, repeatable electrical connector crimping.
Its hydraulic system automatically controls the crimping cycle while the EPS electronic pressure sensor monitors operating pressure. As a result, the tool can confirm the force developed during each crimp.
The cordless design also removes the need for an external hydraulic pump, hose or mains power supply.
B500NDT Crimping Performance
Cembre specifies a 60 kN nominal crimping force and a conductor range from 4 to 300 mm².
Depending on the connector and selected die, the tool supports several crimping profiles, including:
- Hexagonal crimping

Meanwhile, a protected operating button helps reduce accidental activation and LED lights illuminate the working area.

The tool accepts the standard Cembre die system used across compatible tools within this crimping range.
Therefore, customers who already operate compatible Cembre crimping equipment may be able to share suitable dies between tools.
Crimping dies are sold separately unless otherwise specified.

B500NDT vs B1350-CT
Both the B500NDT and Cembre B1350-CT Battery Hydraulic Crimping Tool provide portable 18V hydraulic crimping without an external pump.
However, they target different connector sizes and crimping requirements.
The B500NDT provides a compact solution for electrical connectors on conductors up to 300 mm².
In comparison, the B1350-CT provides substantially higher crimping force and supports electrical connectors on conductors up to 400 mm².
