Description
The Cembre B70M-P36T is a heavy-duty 36V battery-powered electro-hydraulic pump for operating compatible Cembre hydraulic heads.
It develops hydraulic pressure up to 700 bar while providing completely cordless operation. Therefore, operators can power large hydraulic crimping, cutting and punching heads without relying on mains electricity or a manual hydraulic pump.
The B70M-P36 platform also includes a 3 m high-pressure hose, remote control, OLED display, EPS pressure monitoring, Smart Release and SMARTOOL digital technology.
B70M-P36T Battery Hydraulic Pump
The pump uses a high-capacity 36V Li-Ion battery to provide independent hydraulic power in the field.
Its two-speed hydraulic system helps reduce operating times. First, the pump rapidly supplies hydraulic oil to advance the connected head. Then, the hydraulic system provides the pressure required to complete the operation.
As a result, the B70M-P36T combines fast head movement with hydraulic pressure up to 700 bar.
B70M-P36 700 Bar Hydraulic System
The hydraulic system incorporates EPS electronic pressure sensing to monitor operating pressure.
In addition, Cembre includes a maximum-pressure relief valve and dedicated quick pressure-release system.
Smart Release technology can also manage depressurisation after the operating cycle. However, operators can release hydraulic pressure manually whenever required.
Therefore, the pump provides controlled hydraulic operation across a wide range of compatible applications.
3 Metre High-Pressure Hydraulic Hose
The B70M-P36T uses a 3 m flexible high-pressure hose with male and female automatic-locking quick couplings.
The extended hose allows the hydraulic pump to remain away from the working head. As a result, operators have greater freedom when positioning large crimping, cutting or punching heads.
For example, this arrangement can be particularly useful in substations, switchboards, cable installations, industrial plants and field maintenance applications.
B70M-P36T Remote Control Operation
Operators can control the pump directly from the controls mounted on the unit.
In addition, the standard configuration includes an ERCH remote controller. Therefore, the operator can concentrate on positioning the connected hydraulic head while controlling the operating cycle remotely.
A protected start control also helps reduce accidental activation.
OLED Display and Smart Logo
The pump includes an integrated OLED display for real-time monitoring of key operating information.
Furthermore, Cembre’s Smart Logo changes status to provide the operator with immediate visual feedback about the pump’s operating condition.
This can indicate different stages of operation and help operators identify the pump’s current status quickly.
B70M-P36 SMARTOOL Technology
Cembre SMARTOOL technology provides digital recording and management of operating data.
The system allows users to view and download stored information. Therefore, organisations can access useful records for tool management, maintenance and operational traceability.
A USB cable is also included in the current supply configuration.
IP44M Protection for Field Use
The B70M-P36 platform provides an IP44M ingress protection rating.
In addition, its compact and robust housing is designed for demanding field conditions.

The B70M-P36T provides hydraulic power for compatible 700 bar Cembre heads.

B70M-P36T vs B1300PL
Both the B70M-P36T and Cembre B1300PL Battery Hydraulic Pump provide portable 700 bar hydraulic power.
However, the B70M-P36T is a larger 36V heavy-duty hydraulic power unit with a 3 m hose and remote control.
In comparison, the B1300PL is a lighter and more compact 18V pump with a shorter hydraulic hose.
Therefore, the B1300PL works well where portability and low weight are priorities. Meanwhile, the B70M-P36T better suits heavier-duty applications, larger hydraulic heads and situations where greater working distance between the pump and head is useful.
