KSS Strain Relief Gland – AG20SR
The KSS strain relief gland combines a nylon compression cable gland with an extended flexible cable support.
KSS designed the AG20SR to help protect cables against breakage and sharp bending where they enter electrical panels, enclosures and equipment.
The gland uses a Nylon 66 body with a TPE sealing insert. When correctly installed, the compression system seals around the cable while the extended strain-relief section supports the cable as it exits the gland.

How the Strain Relief Design Works
A conventional cable gland clamps and seals around the cable at the point where it enters an enclosure.
The AG20SR adds an extended flexible support beyond that point. As a result, the cable bends over a longer distance rather than sharply at the gland exit.
This helps reduce mechanical stress on the cable sheath and conductors where movement or vibration occurs.
