Utilux Lip Blade Terminals
A blade terminal pushes into a matching socket contact, rather than bolting to a stud like a ring terminal. Lip blade terminals add a small raised lip at the base of the blade, which locks the terminal into the socket housing so it cannot slide back out under vibration.
A crimping tool forms the joint onto the conductor. Consequently, the finished terminal simply pushes into its matching socket contact, with the lip holding it firmly in place once seated.
