Utilux Red Pin Terminals
Pin terminals crimp onto a stripped conductor and terminate in a solid round pin, which inserts into a matching socket, terminal block or connector housing. Utilux red pin terminals suit stranded conductors from 0.5mm² to 1.5mm², colour-coded red to match this conductor range.
Because the pin end is solid and precisely sized, it seats firmly in its socket without the vibration-related loosening that can affect a plain stripped wire end. Consequently, pin terminals suit terminal blocks and connector housings that call for a defined pin size rather than a bare conductor.
Pin Sizes and Insulation Styles
Specifically, this range covers three insulation styles, each with its own pin width and overall length.
- Insulated – 1.6mm pin width, 21mm overall length
- Supergrip – 1.6mm pin width, 21mm overall length
