Termco Long Palm Long Barrel Copper Lugs
Termco TCLLPLB Long Palm Long Barrel Copper Lugs are designed for applications where additional palm length and an extended cable barrel are required compared with a standard copper compression lug.
The extended palm provides additional space around the termination point, while the longer barrel provides increased conductor insertion and crimping length. This makes the TCLLPLB range suitable for specialised switchboard, industrial, utility and infrastructure installations where standard lug dimensions may not provide the required geometry.
The range covers copper conductor sizes from 16mm² through to 630mm². Engineering Supplies’ current range includes TCLLPLB16 through TCLLPLB630.

Why Use a Long Palm Long Barrel Lug?
A long palm or long barrel lug may be required where equipment layout, busbar spacing, cable positioning or termination geometry means a standard copper lug is too short.
The longer palm can provide additional reach between the conductor and termination point, while the longer barrel can provide greater conductor engagement and additional space for the specified crimp pattern.
Always select the lug according to the conductor size, equipment connection requirements and approved crimping method.
Selecting the Correct TCLLPLB Lug
Select the lug according to the nominal conductor size.
For example:
TCLLPLB95 is designed for a 95mm² copper conductor.
The correct die set and crimping tool should be used for the selected conductor and lug size.
