Description

Mains strain clamps for low-voltage ABC

These mains strain clamps secure low-voltage aerial bundled cable, or ABC. The IBT range includes two-core and four-core models. Select the full DULIBT SKU to match the number of cores and the cable size required by your assembly.

DULIBT25095 and DULIBT5095 both cover 50–95 mm² conductors. However, the first is a two-core clamp and the second is a four-core clamp. DULIBT95150 is also a four-core model; confirm its cable range for the supplied version before ordering.

For IBT95150, the store catalogue and older Dulmison reference list 95–150 mm², while PLP lists 50–150 mm². Therefore, check your conductor size with us before selecting this model. These figures are conductor cross-sectional areas, not the outside diameter of the cable bundle.

Clamping blocks, straps and hardware

  • Glass-reinforced clamping blocks with UV stabilisation.
  • High-strength aluminium alloy tension straps.
  • Spring-loaded jaws to help insert the cable cores.
  • Stainless steel hardware as the standard catalogue configuration.

The standard hardware is lubricated to reduce binding. PLP also lists optional galvanised hardware, so confirm the configuration if your specification requires a particular material. The shared photograph shows the general clamp form; it does not identify every size or hardware option.

For the construction details and selection table, see page 92 of the PLP distribution catalogue. The older range is shown on page 8-10 of the Dulmison catalogue.

Match the complete cable assembly

First, confirm the ABC construction and conductor area. Then match the core count, support connection and required mechanical performance. Follow the installation instructions for the exact clamp, including the approved arrangement where fewer cores occupy the clamping positions.

For smaller cable options, view our service strain clamps. To order, select the required mains clamp SKU and quantity, then add it to your cart or quote request. For help, call (08) 9258 8444 or email sales@engsup.com.au.
