Termco Push On Terminals – 0.5–1.5mm² Red
Push on terminals, also called blade or spade terminals, crimp onto a stripped conductor and then push together to make the connection. Unlike a ring or fork terminal, no screw or bolt holds the joint. Termco red push on terminals suit stranded conductors from 0.5mm² to 1.5mm², matching the red colour code.
The male tab crimps onto one conductor and the matching female receptacle crimps onto the other. As a result, the two conductors connect and disconnect by hand, without re-crimping, whenever the joint needs to be separated for maintenance or replacement.

In addition, tab sizes in this range include:
- 2.8mm width, in 0.5mm and 0.8mm thicknesses

Each combination is available in three insulation styles:
- Half Insulated — insulation over part of the crimp barrel
- Full Insulated — insulation covering the full crimp barrel
- Uninsulated — bare terminal for heat-shrink or other separate insulation
Applications
Installers use push on terminals for switchboard wiring, appliance and control panel connections, and any low-voltage circuit that needs a connector to be unplugged for servicing rather than unscrewed. Accordingly, this range covers the common tab sizes found on relays, contactors, switches and terminal blocks.
In all cases, correct crimping requires a ratchet crimping tool suited to insulated terminals in this conductor and colour range.
