Description
A ball clevis connects a ball-and-socket fitting to clevis hardware in a line assembly. This range includes three forged steel models with catalogue load figures of 70, 120 and 160 kN. Choose the full stock SKU to match the fitting specified in your drawing.
First, check the ball connection and bolt size. Then compare the clevis opening and other dimensions with the mating parts. The 160 kN option uses larger ball and bolt sizes than the two smaller options.

Dulmison lists the BC70A and BC160A figures as minimum failing loads. PLP lists BC-120-1 as a tension rating. These figures are not stated working load limits, so use the approved assembly design to confirm the required duty.
Connection dimensions
The Dulmison drawing gives BC70A a clevis opening B of 20 mm, dimension E of 28 mm and dimension S of 78 mm. In comparison, BC160A has B = 24 mm, E = 35 mm and S = 95 mm. Refer to the drawing for the measurement locations.
For PLPBC-120-1, the PLP catalogue confirms the M16 bolt and 16 mm ball size. Ask our team for any additional connection dimensions needed for that exact model. Do not assume that matching load figures make different catalogue codes interchangeable.
