Termco Butt Connectors
Butt connectors crimp two stripped stranded conductors end to end inside one sleeve, joining them into a single in-line run. Termco butt connectors suit stranded conductors from 0.5mm² to 6.0mm², colour-coded to match conductor size.
Because the sleeve joins both conductors along the same axis, butt connectors suit a straight repair or extension splice. Consequently, they are a common choice for cable repairs and extending an existing run.
Sizes and Colour Coding
Specifically, this range covers three conductor sizes, each colour-coded to match the wire gauge, in line with the same colour code used across the wider Termco terminal range.
- 0.5mm² – 1.5mm² – Red
- 1.5mm² – 2.5mm² – Blue
- 2.5mm² – 6.0mm² – Yellow
