GB2 earth rod clamp
The GB2 earth rod clamp connects a single earth conductor to a rod in either a parallel or right-angle layout. It accepts conductors from 50 to 120 mm² and fits rods from 13 to 19 mm in diameter. The Engineering Supplies part number is ER-GB2.
Its body is a high-copper-content alloy casting, with stainless steel hardware. The U-bolt, washers and nuts hold the clamp assembly around the connection. Choose the layout to suit the conductor route and the earthing design.

Selection and connection planning
Check the rod diameter and the conductor size before choosing the clamp. In particular, compare the actual conductor diameter with the listed range as well as checking its cross-sectional area. This gives you two useful size checks for the conductor connection.
Also confirm whether the conductor must run along the rod or cross it at a right angle. Match the final arrangement and component materials to the project specification. Use the relevant fitting instructions for assembly and tightening.
