Description
The Phoenix Contact WIREFOX-D 11 removes the sheath from multicore signal, control and glass-fibre cables with outside diameters of 2.5–11 mm. It handles insulation up to 1 mm thick and has a replaceable stripping blade. The compact body is 90.5 mm long.

Check the cable sheath before use
Start by checking the outside diameter of the complete cable. Then check the thickness of the sheath you need to remove. The 2.5–11 mm range and 1 mm thickness limit describe two different checks when choosing a tool.
Also review the cable type and its construction. A conductor’s mm² size does not tell you the finished cable diameter. Use the cable data sheet and the tool’s guide to check the match, especially where the cable has special insulation.
This tool’s stated task is sheath removal. For glass-fibre cables, check the cable maker’s guidance for the layers beneath that sheath as well.
