Description
The Cembre B-TC400ND-SCT is an ultra-compact 18V battery hydraulic cable cutter for copper, aluminium and telephone cables up to 40 mm diameter.
Its scissor-style cutting head allows operators to position the cable directly between the blades without feeding the conductor through a closed head. Therefore, the tool works particularly well for installed cables and applications with limited working space.
In addition, the balanced bi-linear body, low operating weight and 180° rotating head make the cutter easy to position in the field.
B-TC400ND-SCT Cable Cutter
The B-TC400ND-SC platform uses a battery-powered hydraulic system with twin-speed operation.
First, the hydraulic ram advances rapidly to bring the blades towards the cable. Then, it automatically changes to a slower, more powerful cutting stage.
As a result, operators get fast blade positioning together with the hydraulic force required to complete the cut.
In addition, the tool operates at approximately 620 bar and includes a maximum-pressure valve for hydraulic protection.
40 mm Cable Cutting Capacity
The B-TC400ND-SCT handles compatible cables with an outside diameter of up to 40 mm.

- Other compatible non-steel conductors within the specified capacity
However, Cembre specifically states that the tool must not be used to cut steel.

Finally, a manual pressure-release control allows the blades to retract whenever required.
LED Work Lights
Two high-output LED work lights illuminate the cutting area while the tool operates.
