Voltage range is one part of instrument selection. Also, check the measurement category and working environment.

For example, Phoenix Contact lists DUSPOL EXPERT as CAT IV 600V / CAT III 1000V. The TESTFOX M-1 has a different category rating: CAT III 600V / CAT II 1000V. Therefore, select the model for the intended test location.
