Cembre AR260 Washer Kit – AR260D Installation Washer
The Cembre AR260 Washer Kit is the dedicated installation accessory required for correct extrusion of the Cembre AR260D double-sided rail web bush connection.
Also identified by Cembre as the HTEP/AR260WASHER, the kit incorporates the Ø38 mm installation washer used during installation of the AR260D double contact.
The washer provides the correct support during hydraulic extrusion of the AR260D, allowing the double-sided rail bush to be installed correctly through the 19 mm rail web hole.
Cembre AR260D Washer Kit for AR260D Installation
The AR260 Washer is used with compatible Cembre rail bush installation equipment, including:
- Cembre HTEP manual hydraulic installation tool
- Cembre B1300TEP-T battery hydraulic installation tool
- RHTEP-S rail bush installation head
- OG13.2 installation mandrel
The washer is specifically required for installation of the AR260D double-sided rail web connection and differentiates its installation setup from the single-sided AR60D.
AR260D Double Contact Installation
The AR260D provides two M12 cable connections from opposite sides of a single permanent rail web bush.
During installation, the AR260 washer provides the support required for controlled extrusion of the double contact using the RHTEP-S hydraulic installation head and OG13.2 mandrel.

Compatible Rail Web Connection
Cembre AR260D
Double-sided M12 rail web bush connection for 14–16.5 mm rail web thickness using a 19 mm rail hole.
The AR260D allows conductors to be connected from both sides of a single permanent rail web bush and requires the AR260 washer during installation.
