Termco Closed End Connectors
Closed end connectors, also called splice caps, join two or more stripped stranded conductors inside one crimp sleeve. A closed end on the sleeve keeps the finished joint free of exposed bare conductor. Termco closed end connectors suit stranded conductors from 1.0mm² to 9.0mm², in clear insulation across four sizes.
Because the sleeve joins conductors side by side rather than terminating to a stud or tab, they suit a splice inside a junction box or enclosure. No additional insulating tape is needed once the sleeve is crimped, so installation stays quick even in a crowded enclosure. Consequently, installers reach for closed end connectors wherever they need to join conductors without a screw terminal.
