Aluminium parallel groove clamp for cable joints
This aluminium parallel groove clamp range joins aluminium conductors using a bolted body. Five sizes cover conductor cross-sections from 16 to 300 mm² across the range. Each part has its own limits, so use the selection table to match both the cable size and outside diameter.
The clamps use galvanised steel bolts and Belleville washers to help maintain joint pressure through heating and cooling cycles. An oxide inhibitor coating also protects the contact surfaces. Most sizes have a forged body with transverse grooves; however, the 3594-FS has an extruded body with parallel grooves.

Check both conductors against the range for the chosen part. Then use the specified tightening torque for that clamp, since the bolt sizes and values differ between models.

Allow room for the clamp body and tool access at the joint. The catalogue lists these dimensions as length × breadth × height:
- 3929-FS: 40 × 36 × 40 mm; 0.09 kg.
- 3931-FS: 50 × 45 × 50 mm; 0.14 kg.
- 3932-FS: 55 × 50 × 50 mm; 0.21 kg.
- 3594-FS: 70 × 65 × 76 mm; 0.39 kg.
- PGA35303: 105 × 65 × 75 mm; 0.46 kg.
Confirm the correct connection
Use this range for aluminium-to-aluminium joints. For copper conductors, check the copper parallel groove clamp range instead. The photos show a representative two-bolt clamp; use the part table to confirm the selected model, including the three-bolt PGA35303.
