Cembre HNN3 Crimping Tool
The Cembre HNN3 crimping tool is a professional mechanical hand crimper for pre-insulated electrical terminals and connectors from 1.5 to 10mm².

Indent Crimp Profile
The HNN3 produces an indent crimp on compatible pre-insulated terminals. During the crimp cycle, the jaws compress the terminal barrel around the conductor while the ratchet controls jaw movement and prevents the handles reopening before the cycle completes. Once compression finishes, the handles release automatically. Nevertheless, the emergency lever allows an early release if necessary.
To crimp: first, select the correct terminal for the conductor size. Next, strip the conductor to the specified length without damaging the strands. Then place the terminal into the correct section of the crimping jaws, fully insert the conductor, and close the handles until the ratchet completes the cycle and releases. Importantly, Cembre specifically warns that HNN series tools must not be used on live conductors.
