Description
The Phoenix Contact CRIMPFOX 25R is a ferrule crimper for 10, 16 and 25 mm² wire sizes. It uses a WM crimp profile and side entry. The tool accepts the specified ferrules with or without an insulating collar, giving you one plier for these larger ferrule sizes.

Choosing a ferrule and crimping position
First, match the ferrule to the wire cross-section. Then select the corresponding position on the tool. The 10–25 mm² range refers to the listed ferrule sizes, so use the three positions above when checking the tool against your parts list.
Also check the ferrule length, collar style and the terminal into which the finished ferrule will fit. Follow the ferrule and terminal makers’ preparation guidance, including the required strip length. This helps you choose the wire, ferrule and crimp profile together.
