Cembre B1300TEP-T Battery Hydraulic Rail Bush Installation Tool
The Cembre B1300TEP-T Battery Hydraulic Rail Bush Installation Tool provides fast and repeatable installation of Cembre AR rail web electrical contacts.
An 18V battery hydraulic pump powers the tool, while the RHTEP-S installation head connects through a 900 mm high-pressure hose. As a result, operators can position the lightweight head at the rail while keeping the hydraulic power unit close at hand.
The B1300TEP-T supports common Cembre AR rail connection systems, including the AR60D, AR260D and AR65.

The standard tooling supports AR60D and AR260D installation. In addition, the system can install other compatible Cembre AR connections with the appropriate tooling.
B1300TEP-T Compatible Rail Connections
B1300TEP-T Installation of AR60D
The Cembre AR60D provides a single-sided M12 rail web bush connection for 14–16.5 mm rail webs using a 19 mm rail hole.
The standard B1300TEP-T tooling supports AR60D installation.
AR260D Rail Bush Installation
The Cembre AR260D provides a double-sided M12 rail web connection through a single 19 mm rail web bush.
The kit includes the AR260 Washer Kit for this application.
B1300TEP-T Installation of AR65
The Cembre AR65 provides a single-sided M12 rail web bush connection for 14–16.5 mm rail webs using a 22 mm rail hole.
The B1300TEP-T can also install the AR65 system when operators use the appropriate installation tooling.
AR67 Rail Connection Installation
The tool can also install the Cembre AR67 8 mm rail web connection.
However, this application requires the separately available AR67-INST Installation Kit.
AR60A-41 Rail Bush Installation
For thicker rail webs, the B1300TEP-T can install the AR60A-41 double-sided connection for 40–44 mm rail webs.
For this application, use the dedicated AR60.41-INST installation kit.
AR66D and AR266D-16.5 Compatibility
The tool also supports the AR66D and AR266D-16.5 rail web connections.
These applications use the OG10.5T-M9 mandrel together with the CAL135.145 gauge.
B1300TEP-T Quick-Connect Hydraulic System
The B1300TEP-T does more than install rail bushes.
Its quick-connect hydraulic hose allows operators to remove the RHTEP-S installation head and connect other compatible Cembre hydraulic heads.
Compatible options include:
- RHC131 130 kN hydraulic crimping head
- TC025 hydraulic cable cutting head
Therefore, one battery hydraulic power unit can support rail bush installation, cable lug crimping and conductor cutting.
B1300TEP-T vs HTEP
Both the B1300TEP-T and HTEP install Cembre AR rail web electrical connections. However, the two tools use different hydraulic power sources.
The B1300TEP-T uses an 18V battery-powered hydraulic pump, which provides fast powered operation.
In comparison, the HTEP uses a manual hydraulic pump and requires no batteries or charging equipment.
Therefore, the B1300TEP-T better suits crews that regularly install rail web connections or want faster powered operation. Meanwhile, the HTEP provides a dependable manual option for occasional work, remote sites or backup use.
