Line Fittings
Overhead conductor line fittings from Engineering Supplies include deadends, armour rods, distribution ties, line splices and spiral vibration dampers. Browse fittings for the conductor material and arrangement specified for your overhead line project.
Overhead conductor line fittings in this range
Deadend options include galvanised fittings for galvanised conductors and stays, copper alloy fittings for copper conductors, and aluminium based deadends. Separate listings cover single-piece and multi-piece full-tension deadends for ACSR conductors.

Also explore aluminium armour rods for AAC, AAAC and ACSR, conductor line splices for AAC and AAAC, and distribution ties for the listed conductor or armour-rod arrangement. Spiral vibration dampers complete the range of fitting types shown here.
Match the fitting to the conductor
First, confirm the conductor type, material and outside diameter. Then check the individual fitting description, part number and diameter range. Some listings also show a colour code to help identify the selected size.
For ties, establish whether the fitting will sit over bare conductor or armour rods. For deadends, check the required arrangement against the project specification. These details matter because similar-looking fittings can have different applications.
If you are replacing a component, provide its part number and the conductor details. A drawing or clear photo can also help our team narrow the options.

Galvanised Deadends For Galvanised Conductor and Stays SC/GZ
GFG galvanised deadend grips suit the specified galvanised conductors, guy wires and stays. Choose from nine options using the conductor table below.
- Listed conductor diameters from 4.80 to 18.80 mm
- Part-specific strand constructions and colour codes
- Grip and conductor must have matching lay directions
Use the full part number and conductor details for every size, since colour codes repeat. Confirm the required duty and attachment hardware before ordering.

Copper Alloy Deadends for Copper Conductor
CFG copper alloy deadends suit specified hard drawn copper conductors. Choose from six options using the strand construction and diameter table below.
- Options include CFG-0525, CFG-060, CFG-083, CFG-100-CL, CFG-113-CL and CFG-125
- Individual listed conductor diameters from 5.25 to 12.80 mm
- Right-hand lay is standard in the PLP range
Check the conductor’s actual lay and full part number before ordering. Cadmium copper conductors require the appropriate left-hand lay grip. Multi-size entries cover the listed constructions, not every diameter between them.

Aluminium Based Deadends
AFG aluminium deadend grips suit the specified AAC and AAAC conductor constructions. Nine options cover listed conductor diameters from 7.50 to 23.80 mm.
- Part-specific strand and colour-code table below
- PLP drawing dimensions for eight CL options
- Match conductor lay, fitting code and required holding duty
Selection notes: Photos show a representative orange-marked grip. Use the specified part number and colour code. Confirm any ACSR application and do not substitute AFG-238-CL with AFG-240-LT-CL based on diameter alone.

Spiral Vibration Dampers
PLP spiral vibration dampers help reduce wind-induced conductor vibration at supports and deadend positions. The high-impact, UV-resistant PVC construction resists corrosion.
- SVD-0104: 8.30–11.74 mm, black code
- SVD-0105: 11.75–14.30 mm, yellow code
- SVD-0106: 14.31–19.30 mm, green code
Confirm the conductor size, span length and line conditions before ordering. Standard quantity guidance appears below; exposed crossings, high tensions and aerial warning spheres need specific recommendations.

Aluminium Armour Rods for AAC, AAAC, and ACSR Conductors
PLP aluminium armour rods reinforce and protect AAC, AAAC and ACSR overhead conductors where they pass through supports and fittings.
- Options: AAR-143, AAR-163, AAR-175, AAR-188, AAR-210 and AAR-240
- Listed conductor diameters: 14.00 to 24.79 mm
- Blue, orange, red or black identification marks
Match the confirmed conductor diameter and colour code before ordering, since several diameter bands sit close together.

Conductor Line Splice for AAC, AAAC Conductors
AFS conductor line splices join or repair suitable AAC and AAAC overhead conductors. Choose the exact fitting from the five strand constructions below.
- Options: AFS-090, AFS-143, AFS-163, AFS-175 and AFS-188
- Listed conductor diameters: 9.00, 14.25, 16.25, 17.50 and 18.75 mm
- Part-specific red, blue, orange or black identification marks
Match the conductor and required joint performance before ordering. PLP requires confirmation for any ACSR application; the AAC/AAAC size table does not establish ACSR suitability.

Distribution Side Ties Over Bare Conductor for AAC, AAAC, and ACSR
PLP distribution side ties secure AAC, AAAC and ACSR conductors directly over bare conductor at distribution line supports.
- Options: AWST-075, AWST-140 and AWST-180
- Listed conductor diameters: 7.04 to 19.19 mm
- Blue or black identification marks
Confirm the tie is for a bare-conductor position rather than an armour rod arrangement before ordering.
- Line Fittings
Distribution Ties for Aluminium Based Armour Rods
PLP distribution ties secure aluminium based conductors at support positions where an armour rod is already fitted.
- Options: AWDT-210A, AWDT-220A, AWDT-240A, AWDT-255A and AWDT-290A
- Listed diameters: 11.25 to 18.75 mm
- This range does not list a colour code; identify the fitting by its full part number
Confirm the armour rod outside diameter, not the bare conductor diameter, before ordering.
- Line Fittings
Distribution Ties for Aluminium Based Conductors
PLP distribution ties secure aluminium based conductors directly at distribution line support positions.
- Options: AWDT-075-76 through AWDT-240-76, eight sizes in total
- Listed conductor diameters: 7.04 to 24.59 mm
- Blue, red, black or orange identification marks
Several diameter bands sit close together, so confirm the exact conductor diameter and colour code before ordering.
